Lake Kanasatka is a pristine 375 acre lake originally named Red Hill Pond or Long Pond. Roughly 2 miles long with a mean depth of 20 feet the lake is .3miles across at its widest point. Lake Kanasatka is known for its quiet tranquility with great fishing, observing loons and water quality. The lake is fed by Wakodah Pond, the snow melt off surrounding hills and natural springs. There is a dam at the sothernmost point that connects to Lake Winnipesaukee and controls Kanasatka’s water levels.
